It all started in 2003, when we were looking for a second home to escape the stress of Parisian life. The specifications were to find a site conducive to rest, relaxation, but close to the capital, the sea and tourist sites to get there quickly.
We fell under the spell of the Marais vernier, this region from another time and still preserved where animals: cows, chickens, pigs, donkeys, horses… brought us the expected change of scenery.
So we had this crazy project to dismantle an old Calvados press to rebuild it in the old fashioned way on this orchard in the Marais Vernier to build the house of our dreams and raise our children Swann (1998), Jade (2001) and Arsène there. (2010).
Today is our little piece of paradise and we love to share it with you.
